Here's a video of him in action.
Crystal and I took a trip to the design center in LA over Spring Break. It was a glimpse into another world entirely. The first price tag I looked at was on a cute little dresser that I thought might be cute in my bedroom, unfortunately $15,000 was a little over my budget. People really buy things like that? We finished our day with lunch at the Ivy - an adorable little restaurant where the paparazzi are constantly lurking. We did see Padma (Top Chef - love her!) but the lobster ravioli was worth the trip and almost made the $7 cans of diet coke seem reasonable. I think if you stay too long in that place you get a really skewed sense of reality. One more reason to love Temecula, 99cent cokes at the mobil station are just fine for me.
It's hard to believe we could be celebrating 17 whole years of wedded bliss. I know we look much too young! But it is true. We celebrated our anniversary in May with a trip to Santa Barbara. We stayed in a cute little apartment in Summerland just a block up from the beach and the adorable downtown area. We took our bikes and rode everywhere. One of the highlights was seeing Flight of the Conchords at the Santa Barbara Bowl. The venue is beautiful, set on a hill amongst the trees. The concert was great - we laughed so hard. Here's a short clip of "Hurt Feelings".
While we were gone Lindsay went to her first concert by herself. She saw one of her favorite groups Paramore and No Doubt with cousins Ashley, Allison and Emily. Fun was had by all!
