My first bus ride, and oh yeah, I went to the Pumpkin Patch
Owen had his first official field trip last week to the Peltzer Farms Pumpkin Patch. What was he most excited about? Riding the bus...go figure.
I got to go with him as a chaperone. We had fun finding our way through the corn maze, visiting the farm animals, and picking out a pumpkin to take home.
By the end we were hot and tired but it was a fun day!
The pictures of Owen are so cute! Starlee was totally excited about the bus ride too-I couldn't figure it out! Now she is wondering why she can't take the bus to school? My "we live too close" answer doesn't seem to be flying-maybe as she gets older she will figure it out! ;-)
The Keeler family began in May of 1992. A few years later, Chris and Kristi were joined by our first little blue eyed girl Lindsay. Shelby arrived to make our home even more girly. But luckily for Chris, Owen came to give the males another vote. The final result is the girls win 3 - 2 (most of the time). We are lucky to live in beautiful Southern California surrounded by lots of family and good friends.
Owen cracks us up!
I have to write down all of the funny things owen does and says so that I never forget them and to possibly use them against him in the future. Here are a few that we've heard recently:
In the car: Owen: Mom, look at this. Mom: Owen, I'm driving right now I can't turn around. Owen: Well then just use your back eyes. Mom: My what? Owen: You know the eyes in the back of your head. Mom: Oh yeah, um yeah that looks really cool (trying to guess what he is showing me) Owen: I knew you didn't have those!
At home: Mom: Look, you can use this frozen juice box in your lunch box to keep things cold. Owen: Nice one, dude. Mom: So I'm a dude now? Owen: Sorry, I kind of forgot you were a girl for a second. Mom: That's okay. Owen: Mom, if I forget about that again will you forgive me? Mom: Sure.
