Who knew political activism was so much fun!?! After being obsessed with the signs and bumper stickers for the last few weeks, Owen finally asked "What IS Prop 8?"
Our experiment - much better than carving, lasts longer, costs a lot more...
Kristi that is a great photo of the kids! C. had an altercation with some kids at school who objected to her yes on 8 sticker on her binder. One kid got detention for trying to scrape her sticker off and she had to hold another girls hands to prevent her from hitting her! What is the world coming to?
Kristi we do have a lot in common. Steven and I are our ward's volunteer reps for prop 102 in AZ. It has kept us busy but it is important to protect our families. You go girl!!
We were going to decorate our pumpkins with cardstock this year... I saw the cutest pictures on BHG website. I like the food idea though. very cute. We opted for attempting to carve our favorite Presidential nominees instead... it wasn't pretty. (ha,ha)
The Keeler family began in May of 1992. A few years later, Chris and Kristi were joined by our first little blue eyed girl Lindsay. Shelby arrived to make our home even more girly. But luckily for Chris, Owen came to give the males another vote. The final result is the girls win 3 - 2 (most of the time). We are lucky to live in beautiful Southern California surrounded by lots of family and good friends.
Owen cracks us up!
I have to write down all of the funny things owen does and says so that I never forget them and to possibly use them against him in the future. Here are a few that we've heard recently:
In the car: Owen: Mom, look at this. Mom: Owen, I'm driving right now I can't turn around. Owen: Well then just use your back eyes. Mom: My what? Owen: You know the eyes in the back of your head. Mom: Oh yeah, um yeah that looks really cool (trying to guess what he is showing me) Owen: I knew you didn't have those!
At home: Mom: Look, you can use this frozen juice box in your lunch box to keep things cold. Owen: Nice one, dude. Mom: So I'm a dude now? Owen: Sorry, I kind of forgot you were a girl for a second. Mom: That's okay. Owen: Mom, if I forget about that again will you forgive me? Mom: Sure.

I love Owen! I am totally against human cloning, unless we can clone Owen. (:
Happy Halloween.
